Training

A unique characteristic of Homes for Independent Living’s leadership team is that many were previously direct care employees within our company. This makes them a great resource for staff as our leaders have an exceptional understanding of the needs of the people we serve, as well as the staff caring for them. Employees also receive coaching, modeling, support, oversight and backup from our leadership team. We truly value our employees and believe in promoting from within!

Homes for Independent Living provides all the required training and certifications you need to be successful. This includes formal classroom trainings and on-the-job training for all new employees. Re-certifications and continual education training programs are also provided for current employees.
