Opens Meadowbrook Home
 Watertown, Wisconsin 

Homes for Independent Living opened a new group home, Meadowbrook, in January 2007.

Meadowbrook offers individualized community living to six adults with developmental and physical disabilities.  Features of the home and support services include:

• All private bedrooms
• Roll-in shower
• Accessible deck
• Central Air Conditioning
• Sprinkler system and monitored smoke detection
• Adaptive equipment including mechanical lift, grab bars and an accessible van
• Experienced management and a direct service staffing ratio of 2:6 during active hours and 1:6 awake staffing at night
• PCW reimbursable personal care services
• Extensive experience serving individuals who require specialized care including g-tube feedings, specialized diets, repositioning, transferring, complete personal care, bowel programs, seizure monitoring and other health related care
